Terms

The terms for this site and for the Pabasa service.

Pabasa is made and run by Statotech Systems, Harare, Zimbabwe. Last updated 15 October 2026.

This website

pabasa.statotec.com describes the product. It is provided as is, for information. We try to keep it accurate; a figure on this page is an illustration of how the product works, not a promise about a particular deployment.

The service

Pabasa is provided to organisations under a written agreement between that organisation and Statotech Systems. That agreement sets the scope, the price, the service level and the data-handling duties, and it takes precedence over this page wherever the two differ. A person using the app does so on behalf of their organisation and under that organisation’s instructions.

Accounts

Accounts are created by the customer for its own people. Keep your password to yourself. An organisation is responsible for removing the accounts of people who leave it; we will help if asked.

Acceptable use

Pabasa may not be used to spoof, replay or otherwise falsify a location or a check-in, to probe or attack the service, or for any purpose other than attendance and field-task records for the customer’s own team.

Data

Records entered into Pabasa belong to the customer. How they are handled is set out in the privacy policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Statotech Systems is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or the service, and its total liability under the service agreement is capped as that agreement states. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe, unless the customer’s agreement says otherwise.
